This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Idaho... North Central Idaho...Central Washington...East Central Washington...North Central Washington...Northeast Washington and Southeast Washington. DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT A colder weather system with breezy winds will bring low wind chill temperatures and local blowing and drifting snow. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY Much colder temperatures will continue through the week, with brisk northeasterly winds continuing through Tuesday. The cold temperatures and brisk winds will create very cold wind chill values. Although the winds will subside by midweek, the cold temperatures will continue. This air mass will likely feature the coldest temperatures of the winter.
An active winter weather pattern will envelope the area again by Friday and into the weekend with the potential for moderate to possibly heavy snow over the region.
